A visit last autumn to Nashville, Tennessee provided inspiration enough to finally get back to the scissors and gel medium. In the ten years since I last visited, the aesthetic of Hatch Show Print has cast a classic yet modern aura over the city. There is a new simplicity and sophistication in the combination of fonts, imagery and texture on new logos, signage and paper goods. To these concepts, I have simply added some luuuv.

Barbara is a Charlottesville, Virginia-based, self-taught paper collage artist. She draws from a collection she has been curating for over thirty years.
